Lay also has had many accomplishments in her career! Here are some of them:

Outstanding Educator of the year in Jordan School District
Teacher Feature Award from KSL News Radio and Zions Bank

With all of this experience, Lay has some advice to give to those pursuing a career in education:
"As an educator, appreciate all of your associations with various stakeholders -- District personnel, administrators, fellow teachers, staff members, parents, students, and those outside of the school district. When you are thankful for each individual, you will find the support you need to accomplish great things."
